Fortified Eggs
Burnbrae Farms, Montreal, Canada, has introduced Naturegg Omega Pro eggs, which contain higher levels of DHA omega 3 polyunsaturates and lutein. Each egg provides 300 mcg of lutein; 400 mg of total omega 3 polyunsaturates, including 125 mg of DHA omega 3 polyunsaturates; 50% of the RDI for vitamin E; 75% of the RDI for vitamin B12; and 30% of the RDI for folate (folic acid).
